Drs. Ritz and Feinstein to Hold Joint Replacement Lectures

WILKES-BARRE – When is Joint Replacement the Best Option, free educational seminars offered by the Joint Center at Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital will be held Thursday, Jan. 29 and Feb. 5 in the Keystone Grand Ballroom at the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs in Plains Township.
Dr. George Ritz will present on Jan. 29 at 4 p.m., while Dr. Peter Feinstein will host the Feb. 5 seminar at 4 p.m.
“If you are over 55, and have knee or hip pain, stiffness or swelling, chances are you have arthritis of the knee or hip,” said Dr. Ritz. “The good news is that many treatments are now available to control these symptoms, allowing you to move easily and without pain once again.”
When is Joint Replacement the Best Option will explore the latest non-surgical and surgical treatments for hip and knee pain. The seminar will also help individuals with arthritis determine when it is time to consider total joint replacement. A question and answer session will follow the presentation. Appetizers and refreshments will be served.
