Grand Opening, Ribbon Cutting Held at Mid Valley Center

BLAKELY, Pa. (Dec. 10, 2014) – A grand opening/ribbon cutting was recently held at Mid Valley Outpatient Center, 1400 Main St., Peckville. Justin Davis, CEO of Moses Taylor Hospital, introduced the officials in attendance including Blakely Mayor Jeanette Acciare-Mariani and council members. Acciare-Mariani presented Davis with a plaque commemorating the opening of the center. The center houses Priority Care, a walk-in clinic for the treatment of minor illness and non life-threatening injuries and provides laboratory and imaging services. The outpatient center is housed in the former Mid Valley Hospital. Commonwealth Health has invested $2 million in the construction of a modern and more efficient facility that will enhance the delivery of outpatient services. Commonwealth Health Emergency Medical Services operates a substation out of the Mid Valley campus.
