6 Surgical Specialists physicians join Commonwealth Health

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (April 16, 2018) -- Surgical Specialists, one of Luzerne County's longest-standing and most established surgical practices, has joined Commonwealth Health Physician Network.

The six surgeons who comprise the practice will have joined the Commonwealth Health Physician Network. The six physicians will continue to see patients at Surgical Specialists, 200 S. River St., Plains Township. All are on the medical staff at Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

They include: Juan DeRojas, M.D., general/vascular surgery; Barry Pernikoff, M.D., and Imran Saeed, M.D., general/colon/rectal surgery; Chester Yavorski, M.D., vascular surgery; Clark Gerhart, M.D., and Gary Neale, M.D., bariatric/general surgery.

Other providers in the practice are physician assistants Kelsey Griesback and Kyle Landis.
