First Hospital Expands Psychiatric Unit

KINGSTON, Pa. (July 15, 2016) – Commonwealth Health First Hospital recently unveiled a 22-bed adult psychiatric unit. The 12,000-square-foot expansion features 10 semi-private patient rooms; two private rooms; therapist and group therapy rooms, and a multi-purpose room that doubles as a gym. The hospital is the region’s leading provider of inpatient psychiatric treatment for children, adolescents and adults and serves as the core of an integrated behavioral health delivery system that includes CHOICES and Community Counseling Services.
