Wilkes-Barre General Hospital Brings New PET/CT Scanner Online

EDWARDSVILLE, PA (February 12, 2014) – Wilkes-Barre General Hospital recently dedicated its new positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) scanner at the Thomas P. Saxton Medical Pavilion, Edwardsville. The imaging technology is used in the diagnosis, staging and treatment of cancer.
