Teddy Bear & Doll Clinic to be Held at Tyler Memorial

TUNKHANNOCK - Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock will host a Teddy Bear & Doll Clinic on Sunday, Oct. 5 from 12 to 4 p.m. at the hospital. The event offers children a chance to visit the hospital with their favorite stuffed animal or doll that may need a stitch, new button or a “check-up” from the doctors and nurses who will be volunteering. In addition to holding the hand (or paw) of their beloved pal as they receive top-notch care, children will see first-hand how a trip to the hospital is about care and compassion. They will also be able to tour an ambulance in addition to playing games and having fun. Refreshments will also be served.
