First Hospital Behavioral Specialist Completes Training

KINGSTON, Pa. (Oct. 6, 2014) – Bradley Guarneri, a behavioral specialist consultant at First Hospital, Kingston, recently completed intensive training in Harrisburg that focused on working with childhood sexual offenders. First Hospital is an affiliate of Commonwealth Health.
Guarneri, a resident of West Wyoming, is a certified sexual offender treatment specialist. Completion of the recent course allows him to specialize in the area of sexual offenders who are children. Upon completion of two years of work in that area, Guarneri will be eligible to seek clinical certification as a childhood sexual offender treatment specialist.
Guarneri is a 2003 summa cum laude graduate of King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in psychology and was awarded the Grace C. Brooks Award for Excellence in Psychology. He obtained a master’s degree in community counseling at The University of Scranton.
Guarneri also worked as a mobile therapist, drug and alcohol therapist and psychometrist and was a mental health clinician at the Northumberland County Prison.
