Commonwealth Health to Present Course in Wayne County

SCRANTON, Pa. (Nov. 11, 2014) – Commonwealth Health Emergency Medical Services will conduct a Landing Zone and Program Familiarization Course from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Wayne County 911 and Wayne County Communications Center, 43 Volunteer Drive, Honesdale. The course will be presented by the Critical Care Team of Commonwealth One, the emergency services helicopter.

EMS Continuing Education hours are available for attendees. Tours of the helicopter will be available immediately following the conclusion of the course. Refreshments will be served.

All fire department, ambulance and telecommunications personnel are invited. Members of the community are invited.
