Phillips named Director of Professional Outreach at Moses Taylor Hospital

SCRANTON, Pa. (March 17, 2015) -- Christina Phillips, R.N., O.C.N., a veteran registered nurse, was recently named director of professional outreach at Commonwealth Health Moses Taylor Hospital.

Phillips is certified in oncology with 28 years of experience in outpatient medicine. During her career, she has been exposed to a variety of outpatient initiatives with a concentrated emphasis on staff development, orientation and training of clinical staff.

Phillips has coordinated and initiated quality improvement plans and medicine-based audits for multi-physician group practices and wrote and implemented more than 100 policy and procedures related to physician practice management and overall patient care. She has experience in local, regional and national grant applications and implementations and was the recipient of the Northeast PA Woman Award related to her work in community education.

Phillips resides in Scott Township with her husband and three children.
