Moses Taylor Stroke Group Hosts 1st Meeting

SCRANTON, Pa. (June 11, 2015) – Commonwealth Health Moses Taylor Hospital recently formed a Stroke Support Group for survivors of stroke and their caregivers. The group will meet at 6:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month in the 2 West Conference Room at the hospital, 700 Quincy Avenue. Topics will range from physical and occupational therapy to medication, music therapy, nutrition and aromatherapy.

Group facilitators are Colleen Dodgson, R.N., stroke program coordinator at Moses Taylor, at right, and Justina M. Ferguson, M.S.N., R.N., instructor of nursing at Penn State Worthington Scranton Campus, at left. The program is open to the public free of charge. To RSVP, call Colleen Dodgson at 570-770-5257.
