Aman Ali, M.D., to Practice Gastroenterology

Aman Ali, M.D., has joined the GI practice of Dr. Thomas Castellano, M.D., 490 Northampton St., Edwardsville, and the medical staff of Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Dr. Ali is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and will provide a wide range of services including basic and advanced endoscopy, including procedures which have not been available to patients in the area.
Dr. Ali is a graduate of the University of Punjab, Pakistan, and King Edward Medical University, Pakistan. He completed post-graduate training at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, and was a fellow in gastroenterology and hepatology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York. He also completed training at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, both affiliated with the Harvard Medical School in Boston. He most recently served as assistant professor of internal medicine and gastroenterology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
He is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterology Association.
