Commonwealth Health holds successful Mammothon

Commonwealth Health scheduled 678 mammograms on Oct. 1 as part of the fourth annual Mammothon.
Volunteer employees from Berwick Hospital Center, Moses Taylor Hospital, Regional Hospital of Scranton, Tyler Memorial Hospital, Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Advanced Imaging Services made 2,932 calls to women who were past due for their annual mammogram.

Commonwealth Health's annual Mammothon coincides with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year's total surpassed the 488 mammograms that were scheduled last year.
