GI Specialist to Offer Free Health Talk on GI Issues

EDWARDSVILLE, Pa. (Oct. 11, 2016) – Gastroenterologist Aman Ali, M.D., will present a free health talk, “GERD, Heartburn and other GI Issues,” at 6 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Thomas P. Saxton Medical Pavilion, 468 Northampton St., Edwardsville.
Dr. Ali is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and is on the medical staff of Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. A graduate of the University of Punjab, Pakistan, and King Edward Medical University, Pakistan, he completed post-graduate training at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, and was a fellow in gastroenterology and hepatology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.
He also completed training at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, both affiliated with the Harvard Medical School in Boston. He is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterology Association.
