Stiekes Named COO at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (April 5, 2017) – Robert Stiekes, of Moosic, has been named chief operating officer of Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, it was announced by CEO Cor Catena.

Stiekes earned a degree in accounting from Bob Jones University and an MBA from Valdosta State University. He has been a chief financial officer for 18 years, serving the last five years as market chief financial officer for Commonwealth Health’s Scranton hospitals.

He has been active in community organizations having served on boards of local community centers and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. He and his wife, Tricia, have four children: Davis, Laurel, Dawson and Drew.
