WBGH Heart Walk Committee Plans Fundraisers

The Heart Walk Committee at Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital is conducting several fundraisers in support of the annual walk to be held April 29 at PNC Field, Moosic. The hospital volunteers sold hearts, conducted pizza and doughnut sales and held a basket raffle. Commonwealth Health recently committed to the largest-ever sponsorship of the American Heart Association, Northeast Pennsylvania Division, providing $20,000 to support the Heart Ball and $5,000 for the Heart Walk.
