Commonwealth Health Opens Women’s Center in Dunmore

DUNMORE, Pa. (Oct. 10, 2017) – Local officials and members of the Scranton Chamber of Commerce joined Commonwealth Health Tuesday as the health care system held a grand opening for its Center for Women’s Imaging at Advanced Imaging Specialists. The center at 1000 Meade St., Dunmore, a Moses Taylor Hospital radiology location, will perform imaging procedures for women including 3D mammography, obstetric ultrasound, gynecological ultrasound and breast intervention biopsy. In addition, AIS recently added Lackawanna County’s first open magnetic resonance imaging system. Justin Davis is CEO of Moses Taylor Hospital and Regional Hospital of Scranton.
