Dr. Charlton to Present Free Orthopedic Seminar in Pittston

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (April 27, 2018) – Orthopedic surgeon William Charlton, M.D., will present a free seminar on joint health and replacement advances at 5:30 p.m. May 17 at the Pittston Memorial Library, 47 Broad St., Pittston.
He will discuss advances in knee, hip and shoulder pain relief and a new robotic-assisted device used for knee replacement surgery.
Dr. Charlton is on the medical staff of Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital and earned a sub-specialty certification in sports medicine from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He served as team physician for King’s College and was an orthopedic consultant for the Los Angeles Lakers, Kings and Dodgers.
The seminar is open to the public free of charge though reservations are recommended and may be made by calling (570) 552-7496. Light refreshments will be served.
