Graduating Nurse Signing Day Held in Scranton

Commonwealth Health hosted a Signing Day celebration on Thursday, July 18, for the first graduating class of Jersey College of Nursing students. Designed to be like an athletic signing day event where athletes sign letters of intent to play college sports, these nurses signed letters of intent to work for open RN positions across Commonwealth Health.

The Jersey College Hospital-Based Professional Nursing Program with Commonwealth Health is a six-semester program, culminating in an associate degree in nursing, providing its graduates with opportunities to become a registered nurse. Inaugural classes began in January 2022 and the first class will graduate this December. We are proud to partner with Jersey College of Nursing to train additional caring and skilled nurses for our local community.
