Cardiologist To Prevent Free Seminar On Heart Disease

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (Jan. 8, 2016) – Michael Rupp, M.D., a Commonwealth Health cardiologist, will provide a free seminar on common heart-related issues at 6 p.m. Jan. 20 at the Thomas P. Saxton Pavilion, 468 Northampton St., Edwardsville.
“High Blood Pressure or High Cholesterol?” is open to the public free of charge though reservations are required and may be made by calling 570-552-7404.
Dr. Rupp, a member of the medical staff of Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of conditions affecting the heart and blood vessels. He will discuss these conditions – ranging from high blood pressure and high cholesterol to coronary artery disease and heart failure.
Light refreshments will be served.
