CHEMS accepted as American Heart Association Training Center

SCRANTON, Pa. (Dec. 20, 2016) -- Commonwealth Health Emergency Medical Service has been notified of its acceptance as an American Heart Association Training Center. As a certified training center, CHEMS personnel have been approved to teach basic life support, advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support.

CHEMS has trained more than 3,000 people this year. CHEMS personnel were notified in October that their application had been accepted. The agreement between CHEMS and the AHA was executed last month.
