Commonwealth Health Names New CIO

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (July 12, 2016) -- Denis Tucker has been named chief information officer at Commonwealth Health.

In this capacity, Tucker will lead the management information systems department for the network which includes six hospitals and numerous physician offices, clinics and diagnostic centers.

Tucker has 30 years of experience in the health care information technology field, having worked for Main Line Health and Riddle Hospital in suburban Philadelphia, where he served as director of technology and chief information officer.  He is a member of the Healthcare Information Management Executives and a board member of the Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union in Broomall.

He and his wife, Janet, live in Dallas. They have two children, Michael and Krista.
