Commonwealth Health Opens Full-Service Medical Center

NANTICOKE, Pa. (Oct. 30, 2014) – Commonwealth Health has opened the Nanticoke Medical Center which houses three primary care physicians and full laboratory and radiology services.

The complex at 4 E. Main St., Nanticoke, has been refurbished and the facility now offers laboratory, X-ray and radiology services Monday through Friday. Lab hours are 6:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and X-ray and EKG services are offered from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The complex will house the offices of Dr. David Mouallem, D.O., who specializes in internal medicine; Dr. Richard Hiscox, D.O., family medicine, and Dr. Jung T. Huang, M.D., family medicine.

“We are very pleased to be able to provide the citizens of the greater Nanticoke area with such a modern and convenient facility,” Cor Catena, CEO of Commonwealth Health, said. “Patients who live in the area do not have to travel to have their lab work and X-rays done. “

In addition, Dr. Mark Evans, of the InterMountain Medical Group, who practices with Dr. John Bobeck on 181 S. Market St., Nanticoke, offers same-day appointments.
