PPITTSTON (July, 2022) – Commonwealth Health Physician Network is pleased to welcome board-certified family medicine physician Evan Nakib, M.D., to Pittston. In addition to diagnosing and treating illnesses, Dr. Nakib provides preventive care, including routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunizations and screening tests.

Dr. Nakib earned her medical degree in 1989 from Dhaka Medical College in Bangladesh and completed a residency in family medicine at Louisiana State University Medical Center Shreveport-Monroe.

Dr. Nakib is fluent in English as well as Bangali and Hindi. Same or next-day appointments are often available. Most insurance plans accepted, including Geisinger Health Plan.
