Commonwealth Health Physician Network Welcomes New Radiation Oncologist to Wilkes-Barre

Radiation Oncologist, Jalal Hyder, D.O., recently joined Commonwealth Health Physician Network and is a member of the medical staff at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Dr. Hyder provides radiation therapy care to patients with various types of cancer, such as prostate, lung, brain, skin, gastrointestinal and breast as well as head and neck malignancies. Dr. Hyder works with the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital Cancer Center, which is armed with advanced technologies available today such as the linear accelerator. This technology can provide shorter treatment times for many types of cancer. Dr. Hyder is able to bring his patients the resources and experience necessary to help early detection and accurate diagnosis with individualized, effective cancer treatments.
