Commonwealth Health Physician Network Welcomes New Surgeon

WILKES-BARRE (November, 2019) - Commonwealth Health Physician Network is pleased to welcome Dean R. Adams, M.D. FACS to our surgical team. Dr. Adams is a member of the medical staff of Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Dr. Adams treats all colorectal diseases, cancers and inflammatory bowel disease and is American Board certified in both General and Colon & Rectal surgery. Dr. Adams is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is skilled in minimally invasive robotic-assisted surgery. He received his medical degree in 1992 from University of Alabama School of Medicine, Birmingham; completed residency in general surgery at Providence Hospital, Southfield, MI and concluded fellowship in colorectal surgery at Creighton University Hospital, Omaha, NE in 1999.
