Commonwealth Health to Present Free Seminar on Breast Care

SCRANTON, Pa. (Oct. 20, 2017) -- A seminar on breast care will be presented at 6 p.m. on Oct. 24 at the 2 West Conference Room, Commonwealth Health Moses Taylor Hospital, 700 Quincy Ave., Scranton.

Dr. Kristine Kelley and Dr. Susan Summerton will present the free seminar. Topics of discussion will include cancer screening, benefits of 3D Mammography, MRI and whole breast ultrasound, breast calcifications and masses, treatment of breast cancer, minimally invasive biopsies and ways to better understand breast cancer.

Dr. Kelley is a member of the medical staff at Moses Taylor and Regional Hospital of Scranton. Dr. Summerton is a breast care surgeon and diagnostic radiologist.
