Commonwealth Health Tyler Memorial Hospital plans heart month events for February

Commonwealth Health Tyler Memorial Hospital has planned several activities for February to coincide with National Heart Month.

Every Wednesday there will be speakers and a drawing for heart-healthy items for all attendees, and anyone wearing red on Fridays will receive a free apple.

Here is a complete list of events for February:

Wed., Feb. 4 – Exercise for your heart, 1:30 to 3 p.m. in cafeteria.

Fri., Feb. 6 – National Go Red Day, Heart Healthy Cooking Demo and reception from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in cafeteria.

Wed., Feb. 11 – Medication Safety, 1:30 to 3 p.m. in cafeteria.

Wed. Feb. 18 – Know the signs of heart and stroke, 1:30 to 3 p.m. in cafeteria.

Wed. Feb. 25 – Stress and your heart, 1:30 to 3 p.m. in cafeteria.
