Commonwealth Health Volunteers Assist 484 Women With Mammogram Scheduling

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (Oct. 18, 2018) -- Volunteers from Commonwealth Health recently conducted Mammothon 2018 and scheduled 484 mammograms. Final results show 3,450 calls were made during the three-hour Mammothon on Oct. 17.

Volunteers from the six Commonwealth Health hospitals, clinics and other locations called women who were past due for their annual mammograms, offering to schedule these critical screenings or giving a gentle reminder about the importance of yearly mammograms.
