Dr. Kalisetti to Present Seminar on PVD

SCRANTON, Pa. (Oct. 2, 2018) – Cardiologist Deepika Kalisetti, M.D., will present “Peripheral Vascular Disease: Causes, Symptoms, Diagnosis and Treatment” at 6 p.m. Oct. 23 at Commonwealth Health Regional Hospital of Scranton. The seminar will be held in the hospital’s McGowan Conference Center, 743 Jefferson Avenue, across the street from the main hospital entrance.
Peripheral vascular disease is marked by restricted blood flow of the circulatory system that occurs when arteries and veins become narrower, blocked or spasm.
Dr. Kalisetti is affiliated with Commonwealth Health Great Valley Cardiology and is on the medical staff of Regional Hospital. She is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology and is a registered physician in vascular interpretation. She has a special interest in complex coronary procedures and peripheral vascular disease including venous disease.
