Dr. Marra to Practice Cardiothoracic Surgery in Wilkes-Barre

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (April 28, 2015) – Steven W. Marra, M.D., has joined Commonwealth Health Physician Network and will begin practicing cardiothoracic surgery at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Dr. Marra earned a bachelor’s degree in pre-med from the University of Dayton, Ohio, and graduated with a medical degree from The University of Toledo Medical Center. He completed a general surgery internship and residency at the Metro Health Medical Center, Cleveland, and a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at Rutgers where he was chief resident.
He is board-certified in surgery and thoracic surgery and earned a specialty certification in the Transcatheter Heart Valve Fundamentals Training Program.
