Dr. Tina George Joins Commonwealth Health Group

AVOCA, Pa. (Sept. 9, 2014) – Tina George, MD has recently joined Physicians Health Alliance, a division of Commonwealth Health, and is practicing family medicine in Avoca.
Dr. George, whose office is located at 822 McAlpine St., Suite 6 in Avoca, is a graduate of the University of Scranton where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and philosophy. She studied at Yale University where she received a master’s degree in public health and she earned a medical degree from Harvard University.
Upon graduation she was a family medicine resident at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Dr. George is on the medical staff at Moses Taylor Hospital. She offers same-day appointments and evening appointments and can be reached at (570) 414-1080.
