First Hospital Presents Professional Series

KINGSTON, Pa. (March 29, 2016) – Commonwealth Health First Hospital will present “Aware, Avoid, Alert: Protecting Older Adults from Victimization,” from 6 to 8 p.m. April 28 at the Thomas P. Saxton Medical Pavilion, 468 Northampton St., Edwardsville. Light refreshments will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The program, the first in the hospital’s latest Professional Education Series, will be presented by Agent Janene M. Holter, senior supervisory special agent with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, Education and Outreach Program.
The session will focus on identifying the signs of psychological and physical abuse of the elderly and will help participants learn how to spot common signs that their elderly clients may be falling prey to a scam.
The second lecture, “Mindfulness in Behavioral Health: Living in the Now,” will be presented at 6 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Saxton Pavilion, Edwardsville, by Ricardo Horn.
