Former Heart Walk Child Chair Wins Bicycle

SCRANTON, Pa. (April 30, 2015) – Six-year-old Karley Rose Hill, a former child chairman of the Lackawanna County Heart Walk, was one of the lucky winners of the annual bike raffle sponsored by the physicians and employees of Regional Hospital of Scranton on April 25. The free raffle has been held annually for 14 years in conjunction with the Heart Walk at Nay Aug Park. This year Regional employees and doctors donated 21 bikes valued at $2,400. Karley Rose, the daughter of Kristy and Doug Hill, Scranton, was diagnosed with a rare heart defect shortly after her birth.
