General Hospital Earns Platinum Award For Donor Awareness

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (May 13, 2016) -- Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital was recently presented the Platinum Award by the Hospital Association of Pennsylvania for its efforts in bringing awareness to the Gift of Life Donor Program. The hospital featured internal education and donation displays and held public education events to increase donor awareness. The platinum level is the highest level a hospital can achieve.
