Hospital Honors EMS Workers with Luncheon

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (May 18, 2016) -- Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital honored emergency medical services workers throughout the region today by hosting a barbecue on the hospital grounds in observance of National EMS Week. EMS Week, which runs May 15-21 this year, is aimed at celebrating the men and women of our nation’s emergency medical services.

Tyler Ryan, executive assistant to Wilkes-Barre Mayor Tony George, presented a proclamation to Chip Dunham, director of emergency services at General Hospital.
