McLaughlin Named CEO of First Hospital

KINGSTON, Pa. (Sept. 25, 2015) – Mederic McLaughlin has joined the Commonwealth Health team as the new CEO at First Hospital, Kingston.
McLaughlin has held executive leadership positions at numerous facilities, most recently at Adventist Behavioral Health & Wellness in Cambridge, Md., where he was executive director. He was a chief executive officer at the Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton, Mass.; director of behavioral health at the Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence, R.I.; and served as deputy commissioner for strategic initiatives and planning and quality assurance for the New York State Office of Mental Health.
McLaughlin earned a master’s degree in agency counseling and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rhode Island College in Providence.
