Orthopedic Surgeon Honored with State Award

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (July 18, 2018) – William Charlton, M.D., team physician for the King’s College athletic training department, is the recipient of this year’s The Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers Society Team Physician Award which recognizes exemplary team physicians who work alongside athletic trainers in caring for Pennsylvania's athletes. The award will be presented at the organization’s annual meeting and clinical symposium this month in Grantville. Dr. Charlton is an orthopedic surgeon on the staffs of Wilkes-Barre General and Tyler Memorial hospitals.
