6/23/2016

SCRANTON, Pa. (June 24, 2016) -- Great Valley Cardiology was recently notified that it has been reaccredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission for nuclear cardiology. The 11-physician network was the first in Northeastern Pennsylvania to earn the accreditation in 2003. The distinction by the IAC means the group has undergone a thorough review of its operational and technical components by a panel of experts. The accreditation is only granted those facilities that are found to be providing quality patient car5e in compliance with national standards through a comprehensive application process including detailed case study review. IAC accreditation is a “seal of approval” that patients can rely on as an indication that the facility has been carefully examined on all aspects of its operations in the field of nuclear cardiology.
