Regional Hospital Honors Veterans

SCRANTON, Pa. (Nov. 12, 2014) – Regional Hospital continued its tradition of honoring veterans with a Veterans Day celebration held Nov. 11 in the East Wing Café. Veterans who serve as volunteers and those employed at the hospital were honored with a cake and other refreshments as a token of appreciation for their service.

Participating in the celebration are, first row, from left: Paul Horry, hospital volunteer and a former aircraft mechanic in the U.S. Air Force; and Cathy Williams, medical technologist in the lab, a veteran of the U.S. Army. Second row: Brooks Turkel, hospital CEO, and Dr. Sander Levinson, chief medical officer.
