Regional Hospital welcomes Dr. Gaibi to Emergency Medicine Team

Tanveer Gaibi, M.D. FACEP, has joined Commonwealth Health Regional Hospital of Scranton as regional director of emergency medicine.

Dr. Gaibi specializes in emergency medicine and was chief of emergency medicine at Northwest Hospital in Maryland since 2008 where he also served as regional medical director of emergency care.

He earned his bachelor of science degree from City University of New York Medical School and his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse.

Dr. Gaibi completed a residency in emergency medicine at the University of Maryland Medical System and also studied at the Johns Hopkins Business of Medicine Graduate Certificate Program.
