Scotchlas Named Director at Commonwealth Health Regional

SCRANTON, Pa. (March 19, 2015) -- Alice Scotchlas was named director of professional outreach for Commonwealth Health Regional Hospital.

Scotchlas, who has been employed by Regional Hospital since 2011, has served as a physician liaison since 2012 and prior to that was the practice manager of the bariatric program. She recently completed extensive training with Tiller-Hewitt Healthcare Strategies.

Scotchlas is a graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and earned a registered nurse certificate from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing.

She has more than 25 years of clinical experience in critical care, home health and staff development. She resides in Simpson with her husband Joe. They have three children, Joseph, Adam and Emily.
