Scranton Native returns to area, joins Regional Hospital of Scranton staff

General surgeon Kelly McGuire, D.O, has joined the medical staff of Commonwealth Health Regional Hospital of Scranton. Dr. McGuire performs breast, colon, hernia and robotic surgery.

A native of Scranton, she has returned to the area after completing her residency at Mercy Suburban Hospital in Norristown. 

Dr. McGuire is a graduate of Scranton High School and the University of Scranton. She earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. 

Dr. McGuire joins the practice of Northeast Surgical Specialists, 110 Clay Avenue, Dunmore.
