Speech Therapy the Topic of Stroke Support Meeting

SCRANTON, Pa. (Sept. 15, 2015) – Moses Taylor Hospital Stroke Support Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 7 in the 2 West Conference Room at the hospital, 700 Quincy Avenue. The group is open to all survivors of stroke and their caregivers.
Group facilitators are Colleen Dodgson, R.N., stroke program coordinator at Moses Taylor, and Justina M. Ferguson, M.S.N., R.N., instructor of nursing at Penn State Worthington Scranton Campus.
This month’s program, “Lifestyle: Speech Therapy,” will be presented by Nadia Lucas.
Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month. Topics will range from physical and occupational therapy to medication, music therapy, nutrition and aromatherapy.
