Thoracic Surgeon To Present Free Seminar On Heart, Lung Disease

PLAINS, PA, ( January 21, 2016) Steven W. Marra, M.D., a thoracic surgeon at Commonwealth Health Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, will present a free seminar at 6 p.m. Feb. 10 at Holiday Inn Wilkes-Barre-East Mountain, 600 Wildflower Drive, Plains Township.

“Heart and Lung Problems” will focus on robotic thoracic surgery, heart disease, lung surgery, bypass surgery, angioplasty, tumor removal and blood vessel repair.

Dr. Marra provides surgical treatments and robotic thoracic surgery for diseases affecting organs inside the chest and treatment for heart disease and lung disease.
