Torbik-Belleman Named CNO at Regional Hospital

SCRANTON, Pa. (Oct. 15, 2014) – Melinda E. Torbik-Belleman, M.S., R.N., of Kingston, was appointed chief nursing officer at Regional Hospital of Scranton, an affiliate of Commonwealth Health.
Torbik-Belleman has 35 years of health care experience, including 30 years in administration. In her new position, Torbik-Belleman will oversee all nursing departments and radiology, pharmacy and laboratory services.
A graduate of the former Pittston Hospital School of Nursing, she earned a bachelor of science degree in healthcare administration from St. Joseph’s College, North Windham, Maine, and a master of science degree in human resources administration from The University of Scranton.
She held various nursing position at Wyoming Valley Health Care System and was assistant chief nursing office at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital prior to being appointed to the position at Regional Hospital.
