Tyler Memorial Hospital Receives Award from Quality Insights of Pa.

TUNKHANNOCK, PA (May 27, 2014) – Tyler Memorial Hospital recently was presented the award for Most Innovation for Healthcare-Associated Infections with Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infections by Quality Insights of Pennsylvania, the Medicare Quality improvement Organization for Pennsylvania. Tyler received the award because the hospital has demonstrated commitment and dedication to decreasing catheter-associated infections. Tyler Memorial Hospital has implemented leading evidence-based interventions such as Nurse Driven Urinary Catheter Removal protocol to ensure zero infection rates.
