WBGH Bariatric Program Earns Aetna Distinction

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (June 5, 2015) – Wilkes-Barre General Hospital’s bariatric program has earned the distinction of an Aetna Institutes of Quality program effective April 1.

IOQ facilities show excellence in care and a commitment to continuous improvement and offer an exceptional value to Aetna members. The hospital will be recognized on Aetna’s online provider directory which helps members choose facilities that give consistently high-quality and high-value care. The IOQ Oversight Committee generally reviews programs every two years for continued designation.
