WBGH ranked among top hospitals in the state

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (Sept. 1, 2015) - Wilkes-Barre General Hospital has been ranked the 12th best hospital in Pennsylvania, according to the latest rankings by U.S. News& World Reports.
The hospital earned "High Performing" status in three adult conditions/services: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; heart bypass surgery; and heart failure.
"I'm very proud of the excellent medical care provided by our physicians and clinical team," Cor Catena, CEO of Commonwealth Health, said. "I appreciate the confidence the community has placed in us by entrusting us with their medical care."
