Centralized Scheduling for Outpatient Testing

Call (570) 552-TEST to schedule all radiology, neurophysiology, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiac cath, nuclear medicine and PET scans at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital or any of the outpatient testing centers throughout the community.

Outpatient Testing Centers

If your doctor wants you to have a laboratory test, x-ray or other routine diagnostic procedure, you can visit one of the outpatient testing centers. Hours and types of tests performed vary by site; please find the location most convenient for you.

Patient Registration

If your physician has pre-scheduled you for admission, or if you’ve come to the hospital for outpatient testing, you must first check-in at the patient registration area:

To help make the admission process as smooth as possible, please remember to bring these items:

• Insurance card/insurance information
• Physician order with diagnosis
• Type of procedure
• Photo identification
• Referrals
• Pre-certification number (if necessary)
• Approved length of stay (if necessary)

Parking

Free parking is available for all outpatient procedures. Remember to have your ticket validated at Patient Registration.
