Neurosurgeon Akash Agarwal to Present Lecture

Akash AgarwalSCRANTON (July 9, 2014) – Neurosurgeon Akash Agarwal, M.D., will present “Osteoporosis and Vertebral Compression Fractures” at noon July 23 in the McGowan Conference Room, Regional  Hospital of Scranton, 746 Jefferson Avenue.

Dr. Agarwal is an assistant professor of neurosurgery at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and is a staff neurosurgeon at Regional Hospital of Scranton and Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Boston University and a medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine.

Dr. Agarwal completed a residency with a fellowship in endovascular neurosurgery at Penn State Hershey Medical Center  and an internship in general surgery at The New York Hospital-Cornell.

The lecture is free and open to the public. Lunch will be served.
